Refund Policy

Clear, fair, and transparent refund guidelines for all our services.

Project cancelled mid-way — refund for undelivered milestones minus expenses incurred.

Completed work, approved deliverables, domain/hosting purchases, and third-party costs.

ABOUT CANCELLATIONS:

You may cancel ongoing services, retainer, hourly services or memberships at any time unless otherwise noted in your contract.

We do not pro-rate any services or memberships.

You may request cancellation of physical good orders (such as print goods) and other select services such as hosting service provisioning or advertisement placements, and we will determine if the order can be cancelled or not. Typically third-party vendors or suppliers are involved in the supply chain and they will have to make a determination on their part as well.

If it is too late to stop production, publication or provisioning of your order, we will not be able to issue any refunds or credits.

We may cancel or void payments before service has begun.

ABOUT REFUNDS / NO REFUNDS

Once we have begun service or labor on your project, accounts, orders, etc, we do not issue refunds for any reason.

All services are offered at the client’s own risk: no guarantees, no refunds, no exchanges, no credits.

Novel Web Solution, Novel Web Creation and its affiliates, subsidiaries and vendors cannot and will not be responsible or liable for you monetary investment or loss in any way.

We do not know of a single PPC or digital advertisement provider who offers refunds on ads, clicks, budget, etc. Once you have spent money for ads on Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc, you will almost certainly never see that money returned again, for any reason, no matter how compelling or justifiable your case may seem. The companies mentioned here are global titans, they and many others like them simply will not be swayed when it comes to refund requests or service issues, including but not limited to loss of investment or loss of business or unexpectedly high charges for click costs and placements.

Our view is that business, advertising and marketing are all ventured as a form risk, effort and resources are expended in the hope of gain, profit or desired results, but it is not uncommon for any or all of those endeavors to fail.

You should NOT spend any sum of money, no matter how great or small on PPC services if you cannot afford to lose it entirely with no return, results, revenue or profit of any kind.

We absolutely do not guarantee results in any way.

Most professional marketers and marketing agencies do not guarantee results.

To re-phrase a quote from Frank Kern

“Your results will vary and depend on many factors … All business entails risk as well as massive and consistent effort and action. If you’re not willing to accept that, please DO NOT [contract with us for marketing services]”

Google forbids us from guaranteeing ranking or listing results, and discourages uses from working with agencies who provide guarantees. For an example, see Google’s statement in this article which says ""Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings“. The same principle applies to all other entities (ad platforms and publishers) and services (PPC, advertisements, email marketing, etc).

But don’t take our word for it. The best summary we’ve seen about the evils of a guarantee in the Marketing industry comes from this article on Forbes, where the author correctly writes in point #5 about the agency: “Making guarantees about something you cannot control carries inherent ethical problems” and about the client: “If you have to ask about a guarantee, you probably aren’t ready to be a client because you aren’t financially stable enough to make the investment” “Potential clients seeking guarantees raise two major red flags: a. their own credibility b. the nature of your relationship with them.” The article (by Josh Steimle) is excellent and we suggest you give it a thorough read. It is focused on SEO, but the exact same principles apply to PPC and all other forms of marketing: digital, online and offline. That article is based on a similar one by Rand Fishkin. (note: Novel Web Solution does not have any affiliation with Josh or Rand)

In short, we are in the business of working with our clients to improve their revenue and profitability, but the majority of the systems, corporations and people who come into play in a marketing, sales and business scenario are completely beyond our control.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • We can’t force Google, Facebook or any other ad platform or publisher to list or show your ad in any particular position, rank, or order
  • We can’t make people see, notice, view or watch your ad, listing, offer, services or product
  • We can’t compel people to like your ad, listing, offer, services or product even if they do see it
  • We can’t make them click on the ad or the link if they see or like it
  • Once they click, we can’t make them like your website or anything they see on it
  • We can’t prevent them from leaving your website
  • We can’t make them accept your offer, product or service in any way, including opt-ins, calls, contacts or purchases, even if they have seen it and liked it
  • Most importantly of all, even if someone gets this far, and likes and wants whatever you have to offer them: we can’t make them pay you

Marketing, Advertising and Business in general are risky endeavors.

As this article by Martin Zwilling states “Marketing is fraught with risk, but playing it safe or no marketing is the ultimate risk“.

Do not place orders or engage in or pay for services, activities projects or orders if you cannot reasonably afford them and/or cannot tolerate the loss of your funds or the failure of your expected results and/or expected “ROI”.

While we accept credit card payments for convenience, we strongly discourage anyone from going into debt (including loans or credit card debt) in the hopes that marketing will start, “save” or improve their business.

About The India And Other Jurisdictions Who Have Applicable Laws:

We generally do not work with any clients from the EU or other jurisdictions that require us to provide refunds.

If you are from or located in a jurisdiction with similar laws, and you proceed to place an order with us, you waive and forego all rights to a refund, no matter what other factors may be brought into consideration.

If you hide or attempt to hide or obscure your location or jurisdiction from us in order to place an order anyway, you waive and forego all rights to refunds, services, accounts, memberships, etc and when we discover your real location, your services may be immediately suspended & canceled without refund, your account may be immediately terminated and you may be banned from further contact and/or services.

No Assurance, Guarantee Or Warranty:

No assurances, guarantees or warranties are provided concerning this information. Use at your own discretion. We encourage all users to fully educate and familiarize themselves with the implications, effects and risks of technology, online marketing and advertising, and internet use, especially as it pertains to business and your personal privacy, security, etc.

Exceptions:

We reserve the right for management to make exceptions and issue refunds or credits at their sole discretion only.

Effective Date(S) And Changes:

This refund policy is effective as of 2023.

We reserve the right to modify the terms of this privacy policy at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting the changes on this page. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE WEBSITE AND OUR SERVICES FOLLOWING OUR POSTING OF A CHANGE NOTICE WILL CONSTITUTE BINDING ACCEPTANCE OF THOSE CHANGES.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

Submit Your Request
Email us at hello@novelwebsolution.co with subject line "Refund Request — [Your Project Name]". Include your invoice number, payment date, and reason for the refund request.

Acknowledgement
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and assign a case ID for tracking purposes.

Review & Investigation
Our team will review the request against the project scope, deliverables, and payment history. We may reach out for additional information. This takes 5–7 business days.

Decision & Communication
We will communicate our decision in writing — either approving the refund with the amount and timeline, or providing a detailed explanation for the rejection.

Refund Processed
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Bank processing times may add 3–5 additional days.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund has been approved, the processing time depends on your original payment method:

  • UPI / Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS): 3–5 business days
  • Credit / Debit Card: 7–10 business days (subject to your bank's processing time)
  • Razorpay / PayU / Other Payment Gateways: 5–7 business days
  • Cheque: 10–15 business days
  • International Wire Transfer: 10–15 business days
All refunds will be processed in Indian Rupees (INR) to the original payment source. Novel Web Solution is not responsible for currency conversion losses on international transactions.

Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter through the following process:

  • Step 1: Reply to the decision email with your counter-argument and supporting evidence. Our senior management will review within 5 business days.
  • Step 2: If still unresolved, request a video call with our Director to discuss the matter directly.
  • Step 3: If no mutual agreement is reached, the matter will be referred to mediation or arbitration as outlined in our Terms of Service.
Initiating a payment chargeback with your bank before completing our internal dispute resolution process is a violation of our Terms of Service. We strongly encourage direct communication before escalating externally.

Project Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a project, please notify us in writing at hello@novelwebsolution.co. The following terms apply:

  • Cancellation before work starts: Full refund of advance payment minus any expenses already incurred (e.g., domain purchases, third-party subscriptions)
  • Cancellation during Phase 1 (Discovery & Design): 50% of paid amount refunded
  • Cancellation during Phase 2 (Development): Refund for unstarted milestones only, calculated proportionally
  • Cancellation during Phase 3 (Testing & Launch): No refund — work is substantially complete
  • Post-launch cancellation: No refund — all deliverables have been provided

Upon cancellation, we will deliver all completed work assets to you within 7 business days, subject to clearance of any outstanding balance.

Changes to This Policy

Novel Web Solution reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We will notify active clients of material changes via email.

The policy in effect at the time of your payment will govern your refund eligibility — not any subsequently updated version.
